Nonprofit organization in Bensalem is actively recruiting for a Payroll and AP Specialist. The payroll and AP specialist will be responsible for bi-weekly payroll and full cycle accounts payable. Applicants should have 5 years of full-cycle accounts payable and payroll experience. 


Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist

  • Review and process payroll and conduct payroll audits
  • Process employee time entry changes  
  • Review and input new hires into Sage 100 
  • Provide finance department with ongoing notices of payroll changes 
  • Remain  current with federal and state payroll laws and regulations 
  • Ensure distribution of annual W-2s are completed annually 
  • Coordinate with finance to ensure accuracy of payroll codes
  • Generate weekly check runs, credit cards and ACH payments
  • Analyze and monitor organization wide spent management 
  • File  accounts payable invoices and statements

Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist 

  • Associates degree in finance, business or accounting 
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Excellent mathematical and computational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage preferred 
  • Ability to work independently and a team environment
