National not for profit is actively looking for a new payroll specialist on the contract to hire basis. Position is open due to internal restructure and offers opportunity for advancement. Applicants must have have 3 years of payroll (processing and garnishments) experience within ADP. 

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities: 

  • Review payroll reports and update employee accounts through ADP 
  • Validate employee hours weekly and resolve discrepancies 
  • Oversee and ensure payroll compliance with local, state and federal guidelines
  • Process weekly check runs 
  • Reconcile accounts payable and payroll entries
  • Create weekly payroll reports 
  • Manage employee expense reporting process through Concur 

Payroll Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business o Accounting preferred
  • 2-6 years of payroll processing experience 
  • 2+ years of ADP experience required 
  • Ability to work independent and in a team environment
